Erika Leigh Gordon is an artist from Brooklyn, New York. She studied Painting and Art History at the University of Hartford from 2012-2016. Her paintings are abstract representations of landscapes. She focuses on how water looks at certain times of the day, paying close attention to its reflections. Each painting is made with a color palette that will help induce a feeling or emotion from memory. Water is a subject that Erika closely relates to her life, not as if she is in the water but rather that when looking at water she feels weightless.
